Get Wordy celebrates two award wins
Having been in business since 2017, I was delighted to receive an award at the back end of 2022 for my copywriting services. If that wasn’t enough, at the start of 2023, I received another email which stated I had won a second award. Here, I reveal exactly what each award win is and what it means for Get Wordy as a company.
SME News - Northern Enterprise Awards 2022
In October 2022, I opened my emails one morning and was delighted to see a message congratulating me on winning ‘Best Emerging Copywriter 2022’ in the Northern Enterprise Awards, hosted by SME News. I was originally nominated in the summer, and, to this day, I still don’t know who nominated me so thank you very much if you’re reading this.
In the email, the awards team explained that to be awarded, “there must be evidence of expertise within a given field; dedication to customer/client service, satisfaction and retention; and an on-going commitment to providing excellent work.”
Not only is it an honour to win this award but seeing so many other reputable businesses on the award list was a truly pinch-me moment. Little did I know, it was just the start…
Innovation & Excellence Awards 2023
My next award win took place in April 2023, when I was notified that Get Wordy had been shortlisted for the awards category, Copywriting Specialist of the Year. Not just that but the judges had chosen me as the winner!
The awards team explained that every year both readers of and contributors to the Corporate Livewire publications put forward companies, products, services, and individuals who they feel are deserving of recognition. Again, I don’t know who put my name forward but a massive thank you if you’re reading this.

Winning these awards is, of course, an incredibly proud moment in my career. It not only helps to signify my experience and skills in copywriting, but I hope it also shows the dedication and passion I put into every single one of my projects. I also now have two shiny trophies to put up in my home office (!!) and I can officially call myself an award-winning Manchester copywriter.
